GLOBAL RESILIENCE ACADEMY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD VISION

Typhoon Ulysses (Typhoon Vamco) is the 21st tropical cyclone to hit the country. The main impact of the typhoon was in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces. Marikina City was severely affected by floods. Hundreds of Marikina City residents were forced to flee their homes on November 12, 2020 as the water in Marikina River surpassed its peak level.

GRA: Global Resilience Academy Co. in partnership with World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. (WVDF) provided hygiene kits to 504 families in Barangay Barangka, Marikina City. The local government unit of Barangay Barangka extended their support through the provision of transportation and other logistical requirements in reaching the families affected by the typhoon.
